The Lerici Music Festival is an annual classical music festival held in Lerici, a historic town in Liguria’s Gulf of Poets. Founded in 2017, it has become one of Italy’s most distinguished classical music events — celebrated both for the quality of its programming and for the sheer beauty of its venues, from the Renaissance Villa Marigola to the medieval Fortezza Firmafede and open-air stages by the sea.

The Festival is organized by Fondazione Lerici Cultura E.T.S. (and from 2026, FONDAZIONE LERICI CULTURA), a non-profit cultural foundation established in 2022 to provide the Festival with a permanent institutional home. Beyond the Festival itself, the Foundation promotes music and cultural heritage through concerts, masterclasses and community initiatives that bring world-class artists together with local and international audiences.

Andrey and Irina Rappoport, and now the FAIR Foundation, have supported the Lerici Music Festival for ten years running, since its very first edition. It is one of the Foundation’s signature projects. Each year, the Festival brings together some of the finest musicians on the world stage, whilst also providing a platform for emerging talents making their first appearances before international audiences. Over a decade of close collaboration, this partnership has grown from simple patronage into something closer to a genuine creative friendship between the founders, artists and organizers of the Festival.
