Lx Circular is an innovative training, ideation, and acceleration program designed to promote the transition to a circular and regenerative economy. It empowers entrepreneurs, startups, and the Lisbon community to tackle social and environmental challenges. By focusing on the Circular Economy, Lx Circular aims to foster sustainable practices that drive both economic development and social inclusion.
The program is a collaborative effort led by Impact Hub Lisbon, with social investment from the FAIR Foundation, in partnership with Unicorn Factory Lisboa, IES – Social Business School, and co-financed by Portugal Inovação Social. The initiative seeks to position Lisbon as a model city for the transition to the Circular Economy, demonstrating how innovation, cooperation, and social impact can transform communities and generate a more sustainable future.

Objectives:
1. Encourage Impact Entrepreneurship: Lx Circular aims to promote impact entrepreneurship as a response to the challenges of the Circular Economy. The program focuses on an ideation process centered around the most relevant challenges identified by the Lisbon City Council, providing a platform for entrepreneurs to create impactful solutions.
2. Support Early-Stage Entrepreneurs and Startups: The program supports early-stage ventures with innovative solutions for the Circular Economy, strengthening their business models, skills, and capacities. Entrepreneurs receive comprehensive training, mentoring, and support to ensure long-term success.
Lx Circular also benefits from strategic support from Lisbon City Council and Lisboa E-Nova as Challenge Owners during the Ideation phase, which enables the program to address key challenges related to Lisbon’s circular economy goals.
By focusing on training, ideation, and acceleration, Lx Circular is an essential platform for fostering sustainable ventures and positioning Lisbon as a global leader in Circular Economy innovation. The program not only aims to support entrepreneurs but also aims to drive systemic change, generating a more sustainable and inclusive future for the city and beyond.
