ERAN offers Lifesaving Emotional First Aid Services, providing immediate emotional support and response via phone and online, while ensuring strict confidentiality and anonymity. Since its inception in 1971, the organization has evolved into a national organization with a network of volunteers across the country. For five decades, ERAN volunteers have been reaching out to individuals in distress, offering discreet and confidential assistance. Today, ERAN operates Israel’s largest hotline, delivering mental health services to the entire Israeli public both anonymously and instantly.

The grant has facilitated the recruitment of new volunteers and provided them with comprehensive training through a long-term program, equipping them with the skills necessary to deliver first aid support via phone or online. In 2023, volunteers responded to over 300,000 calls, including 1,000 inquiries related to suicidal thoughts, where ERAN volunteers have played a crucial role in saving lives.
